A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja Tuesday granted the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh bail.
However, in granting him bail, the court ordered that Metuh pay N400million and must provide two sureties in the like sum and who must reside in Abuja.
The sureties should also swear affidavit of means along with two passport photographs.
Metuh, who has been a guest of the Department of State Security (DSS) for a number of weeks, was also ordered to deposit his travel documents with the court.
Incidentally, the N400million the court ordered Metuh to pay is the same amount the DSS is allegeding he collected from former National Security Adviser Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd), who is also being investigated for his involvement in the $2.1 billion arms scandal.
